1 Coming Soon! The first in a series of Calculus workbooks on integration techniques - Antidifferentiation. This workbook covers the concepts and applications of antidifferentiation, demonstrating what is actually happening when a definite or indefinite integral is calculated. There are lots of detailed examples and problems are graduated in difficulty with detailed solutions.
2 The Curve Sketching Toolbox series of Pre-Calculus workbooks is in development. This series will cover all of the concepts necessary to hand-sketch polynomial, rational, radical, trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic and parametric curves, with lots of detailed examples and solved problems. Conic sections in their Cartesian and polar representations will also be included.
Anyone can push buttons on a graphing calculator and get a result, but understanding why the graph is as it is, or if there was a mistake in input or in the display, requires understanding the concepts. These workbooks will be useful for anyone in classes from Algebra I through college Calculus as a comprehensive curve sketching how-to manual, as a refresher or as a one-stop curve sketching reference.
